Artist #1 uses the elements of darkness with the charcoal to create a ghost like presence especially since there is little use of white or light space. However, the subject in Untitled 3 gets lost in the piece. Each image creates a life after death thought and plays with the emotion or thought of death. As complete compositions the movements affect my visual and feeling the most in Untitled 2, this work creates a feeling of lightness, and this scene is mysterious. The elements that work for this work are the use of charcoal for the dark or gloomy feel. The elements that do not work for the artist is the balance of darks and lights.

I like the spatial changes that appear in these
works. One or two, perhaps. project a claustrophobic
mood, which could be the artist's intent. The use of
the medium seems appropriate to the veiled, mysterious feeling the works express. The presence
of the ghost-like figures in the lower two (before
the sculpture) suggests the dimension of meaning
the artists strives for in her comments.
